Our moles within the racing circles tell us that apart from more power and less weight (always handy), the new ZX-10R's main advantage is not these two factors but rather its improved weight distribution, weight transference qualities and grip levels. To date, the highlights have included Jeremy Toye’s triumph at Pikes Peak, Tom Sykes leading the World Superbike Championship and the release of the 2015 Ninja ZX-14R 30th Anniversary Limited Edition. The celebrations haven’t finished yet, and the next milestone will be an assault on Bonneville Speed Week (August 9-15, 2014) in an attempt to set a new Land Speed Record at the famous Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. The 2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R has been entered by catalytic converter specialist, ACAT Global, with the aim of proving its motorcycle products in the most challenging conditions.
Kawasaki Re-Signs Multi-Year Contracts with Villopoto and Weimer
Fri, 07 Sep 2012Ryan Villopoto and Jake Weimer have signed multi-year contract extensions with Kawasaki, ensuring the two riders will continue competing for Team Green in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross championships through 2013 and beyond. Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.
