Its great looks materialize in the form of a low, sleek chassis matched with equally impressive V-twin power are without a doubt a big part of this successful motorcycle. At the center of this exciting bike is a 95-cubic inch V-twin engine generating plenty of low-end torque and supplying the Vulcan 1600 Classic with more than enough power for just about anything its rider chooses to do. Extra power is nice for playtime, but when a plan calls for extended seat-time, the single-pin crankshaft and a gear-driven counter balancer work together to provide a comforting rhythm without those harsh vibrations. Complimenting the engine’s power is a large, 41mm telescoping fork and the stout frame, which provide max rigidity for superb steering feel, easy side-to-side transitions and terrific ride quality. Dual rear shocks with four-way adjustable damping deliver exceptional comfort for long days in the saddle. Cast seven-spoke wheels allow the use of large tubeless tires and wide fenders to give the 1600 Classic its tough look. A wide, pullback handlebar, stepped seat, dual slash-cut mufflers, and a multi-reflector headlamp are several of the design details that make the 1600 Classic a one-of-a-kind American classic. Features of the tank-mounted, integrated instrument cluster include an LCD screen, ignition switch, fuel-injection warning lamp, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meter and clock. American Motorcycle Trading Company was formed in 1996. We came from humble beginnings, starting out in a 6,000 square ft facility across from the Cowboys Stadium. We built our business on quality relationships with quality people. After serving the DFW community for approx 7 yrs, we outgrew our facility. In 2003 we bought a new building in the southeast corner of 6 Flags Mall, just minutes from Texas Ranger’s Ballpark. Our state of the art, 27,000 sq. feet facility provided room for our growing business. After 9 yrs at 6 Flags Mall, we have decided to open an additional location called Texas Best Used Motorcycles in Mansfield, Texas. Look for the opening the winter of 2012! What makes American Motorcycle different? We distinguish ourselves from other dealers in variety of ways. The single most important reason is the quality of our motorcycles. Over the past seventeen years, we have bought and sold approx 20,000 motorcycles. Such significant experience teaches you what to look for in a quality motorcycle. We primarily obtain our motorcycles from dealers who take the motorcycles as trade ins. Our dealer principal spent almost 30 yrs in the automotive industry and has forged strong relationships with dealers nationwide. We also actively purchase motorcycles from individuals just like you! All of our motorcycles go through a thorough inspection process. The initial inspection is referred to as a pre-buy inspection or PBI. Before we decide to purchase a motorcycle, our technicians evaluate the bike. This enables our buyer to select only the best units available. On top of that we go through a pre-delivery inspection or PDI, which is a 32 point mechanical and electrical check to insure a safe, trouble free buying experience. We sell most of our bikes to people we never meet! In order to maintain our reputation and build the requisite trust that our customers so often place in us, we take great pride and care in our make ready process. You can rest assured that when you buy from us, you buy a quality motorcycle. American Motorcycle Trading Company 2925 E. We all like to save a shilling if we can, especially these days, but sometimes, doing a job yourself, cutting corners and generally grubbing round being tight fisted actually ends up costing you more money than biting the bullet and putting your hand a bit deeper into your pocket to get a proper job done. The problem is, I come from a long line of, erm, frugal Yorkshire b####rds going back generations, and I seem to be hardwired as a bit of a skinflint. My dad, although never actually short of money, that I could remember, didn’t like spending it.
