An absolutely beautiful 2000 Kawasaki W650 for sale. It was my good friends dream bike. He bought it new and had to travel to Yankton South Dakota to get it. So a lot of the miles are drive in miles. Unfortunately he passed away before he had much of a chance to enjoy it. His son stored it in a climate controlled basement for many years, starting it periodically to keep all the parts lubricated. The carbs were professionally cleaned this spring. The bike is very fun to drive and runs great. It is nearly mint condition. I can't see any blemishes at all. It still has the little sticker on the tach. The chrome is perfect, just a little yellowing on the top of the exhaust pipes for running. The tires are original and are in excellent condition. This is an opportunity to own a truly classic bike that was only brought in to the US two years. It was made to look like an early Triumph or BSA only all of the modern electronics. Really a head turner when people see it. Bike is located in Menomonie, WI and that is one hour east of the twin cities on I 94. Shipping is on you own but I will assist you in any way that I can. The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note. This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.

Thu, 26 Apr 2012A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.
