Kawasaki z1r description

This is a 1980 Kawasaki KZ1000,  Z1R road bike, it is a complete bike with some extras that come with it. The bike is currently not running on its own but will run with a gas can feeding the carbs. The gas tank needs to be cleaned, the carbs were cleaned a while back, but might not hurt to check them out again to be safe. Rest assured, this motor is not locked up and will run with a little effort. The bike has always been stored inside, has never sat outside. The bike hasn't been on the road in the last couple years, could use an overall inspection and maintenance, the tires hold air but do have some weather checking going on. The bike includes the following parts: New battery, new rear turn signal, four qts. oil, new plugs, new cover, tool kit, and owners manual. I have a picture of all the extra parts, but could not get it to load. I can email it to interested parties.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping/transportation costs. I will make my schedule as flexible as possible for pickup of the bike when needed, and assist in loading. A United States Post Office Money Order or a Paypal transaction of $1,000.00 for a deposit must be received within 48 hours after the auction closes. The deposit is NON-Refundable. Standard money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks and bank checks NOT accepted. Cash is always welcomed. The remainder of payment for the bike must be a wire transfer to my bank, or cash in person. I will not release the bike or title until paid in full. Bike must be paided for in full 10 days after close of auction. Clean Michigan title in hand. Bike must be picked up within two weeks after auction closes, unless discussed prior to end of auction. Feel free to call Garv @ 616-834-126five with any further questions. I have a great track record on Ebay with 100% feedback rate, I feel I do good honest business. Good luck, and happy bidding!

Do WSB bikes need fake headlights?

Mon, 02 Jul 2012

Next year's WSB bikes must carry fake headlight stickers to make them look like their road-going equivalents – and Kawasaki previewed the new look at yesterday's race at Aragon. The idea is to add to WSB's road bike links and to further distinguish the bikes from the latest breed of CRT MotoGP machines. However, it means adding meaningless stickers on a large and potentially valuable acreage of prime sponsorship space on the bike's nose, with much of the rest already taken up by the rider's number; not necessarily a good thing when money is already hard to find in international racing.

Schwantz, Tsujimoto Team Up For Yoshimura Legends Team At 2014 Suzuka 8-Hour

Sat, 01 Mar 2014

Former 500cc World Champion, Kevin Schwantz, will pair with former Japanese Champion, Satoshi Tsujimoto, in this year’s Suzuka 8-Hour race. The duo originally tackled Suzuka together in 1986, ultimately coming in third position. Now the two are back in celebration of Yoshimura’s 60th anniversary, as part of the company’s “Legend Team.” Yoshimura will also field a second entry with former Australian Champion Josh Waters and All Japan Superbike rider Takuya Tsuda.

The name Matt Cuddy should need no introduction to Motorcycle.com readers. Not only does he have more than 5,000 posts on our forum, he’s also written dirt bike tests for us, including the 2010 and 2011 Kawasaki KX450F reviews. Making this accomplishment more noteworthy is the fact that Matt is a paraplegic – he was hit by a car several years ago while riding his motorcycle.
