MV Agusta Brutale description

2012 MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR, LOW MILEAGE RETIRED EXEC OWNED/PRICED TO SELL!Maximum performance without compromise, this is the creed of the new Brutale RR 1090. The Brutale RR 1090 is the most important addition to the Brutale 2012 line-up, it is an absolute missile capable of exceptional performance and a level of handling that makes all other naked bikes pale by comparison. The 1,078 cubic centimeter four-cylinder engine with radial intake and exhaust valves offers the highest power output ever by a Brutale. New camshafts, new intake tracts, new throttle bodies (same bore diameter as the F4) all contribute to the record power level of 116,5 kilowatts (158 horsepower) at 11.900 revolutions per minute. This engine is simply extraordinary and capable of satisfying even the most demanding rider thanks to the addition of the slipper clutch, new engine mapping and traction control with 8 levels of intervention. The chassis of the MV Agusta Brutale RR 1090 is worthy of an authentic superbike without fairings, the ultra-light CrMo steel tube chassis that is hand welded (TIG) with adjustable steering geometry that allows the rider to adapt the geometry to their personal needs. Logically, a superbike needs to have the best suspension available: Marzocchi 50 millimeter USD front forks with DLC coating and dedicated valving for the Brutale RR 1090 together with a Sachs single shock with high and low speed compression adjusters along with rebound and spring pre-load adjusters. Completing the high level of components are the brakes and wheels: Brembo monobloc front brake calipers (the same as on the hypersport F4RR) with 320 millimeter rotors as well as forged aluminum wheels that weight over one kilogram less that cast wheels and help reduce the unsprung mass.

Results From Day 2 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. The former champ has a special ability when it comes to lapping middleweight sportbikes as quickly as possible, and it showed again at the conclusion of World Supersport testing at Phillip Island. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.

2014 MV Agusta F3 800 – First Impressions

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

We had expected the Rivale 800 to be our next MV Agusta appointment, but instead they pushed forward the F3 800′s launch at Misano. After having tested the Brutale 800, this was a mouth-watering prospect. The three-cylinder MV Agusta range now consists of four models (F3 and Brutale in 675cc and 800cc) plus the upcoming 800cc Rivale, helping the Schiranna factory offer its most extensive lineup ever.

MV Agusta Doubles Production Capacity as F3 Rolls Off the Line

Mon, 06 Feb 2012

MV Agusta announced it is doubling production capacity at its factory in Varese, Italy, thanks mostly to popular demand of its new F3 675 three-cylinder supersport. Thanks to the hype over new products such as the F3, its naked sibling the Brutale 675, as well as the RR1090 and R1090 Brutales, MV Agusta has already received more orders for 2012 than it had for all of 2011, which saw a 12% increase in sales over 2010. To mark the doubling of production capacity as well as the start of production for the special edition F3 Serie Oro, MV Agusta released a video of the bike being constructed on its assembly line.
