MV Agusta Brutale description
2013 Mv Agusta Brutale 675 with EAS, Italian beauty mixed with high performance and great riding! - With the introduction of the Brutale line, MV Agusta has created the reference point of the large displacement naked category offering a product with a truly unique design and superbike level performance. The incredibly refined mechanical design has been matched with an ultra-technological chassis makes the new Brutale 675 a guaranteed success. An innovative project that is exclusive while at the same time accessible to all passionate motorcyclists with various levels of experience. This motorcycle is capable of satisfying even the most demanding riders as well as those that are new to the sport. From street to track, the MV Agusta Brutale 675 is able to take on any situation in stride and offer the pleasure, excitement and emotions that are typically MV. Light, agile and powerful above and beyond that offered by the competition, the MV Agusta Brutale 675 has a revolutionary engine that is the most advanced in the middle-weight segment. The new in-line three cylinder power plant is derived directly from the F3 and sets new records for compactness and the application of technical solutions only previously seen on MotoGp motorcycles such as advanced electronics with the MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System), a system that integrates the Full Ride By Wire throttle control with integral multi-maps for the engine and traction control. Power output is a staggering 110 horsepower at 12,500 rpm and a torque curve that is more akin to a liter bike rather than a supersport. The chassis, as is the MV Agusta tradition, is without rivals in this category. The frame is a mix of steel tubing and aluminum components that offers a level of rigidity that is destined to make it the reference in its class. At only 163 kilograms dry, the MV Agusta Brutale 675 can satisfy even the most demanding of riders. The extremely light weight coupled with the high power output of the engine will allow the Brutale 675 to accompany new riders from the beginning of their adventure on two wheels all the way to the peak of their riding capabilities. 2014 MV Agusta 3-Cylinder Models Now Feature ABS
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Better late than never, as the saying goes: MV Agusta will be equipping 2014 three-cylinder models the Brutale 675 and 800, the F3 675 and 800 and the Rivale 800 with dual-function ABS featuring Normal and Race Mode. These models will come equipped with an internal pressure sensor and independent wheel sensors on each axle, all controlled by the small and lightweight Bosch 9MP ABS control unit. The ABS was specifically developed to provide safer, more effective deceleration on all road surfaces without compromising either the power or the progressiveness of the system and with the clear aim of obtaining the shortest possible braking distances.

2014 WSBK Phillip Island Results
Sun, 23 Feb 2014When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
