MV Agusta F4 1000S description

Used 2006 MV Agusta F4 1000S.  I'm the second owner and bought the bike from a dealership in Greenville, SC.  I've owned the bike for 3 years and wrist issues are forcing me to sell.  All the parts are stock except for the water pump.  I had that upgraded in March to help with the cooling.  I had the valves checked and a new seal installed in May of 2012 according to the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual.  The tires have about 800 miles on them but plenty of tread.  There are some minor scratches on the edge of the fairing behind the front tire.  This was done when the bike was brought back from the dealership.  The front tire stabilizer rubbed the fairing when we loaded it up.  Other than that there are some small scratches caused by rocks and road debris.  I owned a R6 and R1 before and they don't compare.  This bike rides better than either of those models.  It's got a great look, sound and feel.  You won't be able to go anywhere without people asking about it.

Buyer will be responsible for shipping or pick up of the bike.  I have an inclosed motorcycle trailer and will transport up to 400 miles from Charlotte, NC for a fee.  I will accept cash, money orders or certified checks.

A masterful display by Shakey and might we see MV Agusta at the TT next year?

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

I was interested to see none other than William Dunlop doing some shakedown testing on a very nice MV 675 F3 at Donington recently. The bike appeared failry standard  but sounded sweet and looked pretty rapid out on track. Ohlins technician Richard Brendish was gathering information and helping with set up but reckons no definite decision has been made on where we might see MVs racing next year.   Back to sensible riding and after dropping in for a brew at Shires Motorcycle Training (Derby) the lovely Emily was telling me if your thinking about taking your bike test (especially if you’re 17) it’s not a bad idea to get it done now.

2014 World Supersport – Phillip Island Results

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.

MV Agusta Doubles Production Capacity as F3 Rolls Off the Line

Mon, 06 Feb 2012

MV Agusta announced it is doubling production capacity at its factory in Varese, Italy, thanks mostly to popular demand of its new F3 675 three-cylinder supersport. Thanks to the hype over new products such as the F3, its naked sibling the Brutale 675, as well as the RR1090 and R1090 Brutales, MV Agusta has already received more orders for 2012 than it had for all of 2011, which saw a 12% increase in sales over 2010. To mark the doubling of production capacity as well as the start of production for the special edition F3 Serie Oro, MV Agusta released a video of the bike being constructed on its assembly line.
