MV Agusta F4 description

2005 MV Agusta F4 1000, This motorcycle began as a stock 2005 MV Agusta F41000S. Purchased at Fast by Ferracci, MV Agusta's North American headquarters in 2007, the bike was completely customized for the previous owner by none other than Eraldo Ferracci. The redesign goal was not to race on the track or at Bonneville, but to preserve the beauty of a stock MV F4, while substantially changing the bike by incorporating components then in use by the MV Augusta race team that Ferraci was sponsoring. Many of the parts for the bike literally came off the race track parked out back. Stock brakes, exhaust components and forks were all replaced with race spec parts. The front brake and clutch system include top of the line Brembo pumps, custom matched rotors and one-piece race calipers. More than $10,000 was spent on brake components alone. The brakes were fitted to a custom specified Marzzochi fork and internals. Previous owner claim, The bike has never seen a track or rain and has only limited road time to make sure it is run and properly maintained each year. Only factory parts and fluids are used.

This weekend, the MotoGP circus makes its way to the United States for round two of the world championship, held at the stunning new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, the first time the track will host a world championship level motorcycle event. Expect to see the world’s fastest racebikes reach speeds over 200 mph on the 1 km (0.62-mile) back straight, and bring ear plugs — these bikes are loud! Fresh off a 1-2 finish in the season opener in Qatar, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are looking to carry the momentum to CotA.

MV Agusta Explains Loss of California License

Thu, 22 May 2014

Earlier this month, the Occupational Licensing division of the California Department of Motor Vehicles caused a bit of a kerfuffle in the motorcycle world when the agency’s monthly newsletter announced that MV Agusta had lost its license to sell motorcycles in the state of California. This is not the sort of announcement you’d expect about a well-known, premium brand of motorcycle. The ruling essentially forbids any of MV’s dealers from selling any new motorcycles.
