Good straight conditions, runs strong and smooth being completely overhauled since a few k's kms, this is most probably a test factory bike, one of the prototypes of this iconic Italian superbike model. Engine has no numbers so again this could prove what it was. It runs very well and in good shape all around. Original 1976 Italian registration document present.

Piaggio Reports Q1 2012 Results

Increased scooter sales offset a drop in motorcycle sales, but both segments reported increases in net sales for the Piaggio Group in the first quarter of 2012. According to Piaggio‘s first quarter report, the Group sold 9,400 motorcycles worldwide, down 8.2% from the 10,300 units sold in the same quarter last year. Scooter sales however saw a 7.9% increase to 79,200 units from 73,400 units.

EICMA 2012: Moto Guzzi California 1400 Custom and Touring Versions Revealed

Last week, we got a peak at the new touring version of the Moto Guzzi California 1400, the new flagship cruiser from the Italian brand. Piaggio has now presented the new California 1400 at the 2012 EICMA Show in both its touring trim and the custom version pictured above. The new Moto Guzzi California 1400 is powered by a 1380cc V-Twin engine, which Piaggio claims is the largest V-Twin produced by an European manufacturer.
