Steering dampener. 1064cc's. 75 HP, 71 foot pounds of torque. Sportsters scatter and Triumphs tremble. Fuel injection, hydraulic valves, dual plate dry clutch. Good battery and tires. 13 years of use have left some small dents (tank) and scrapes and a small 1.5" tear in the front of the seat where it meets the tank. Piaggio Reports Q1 2013 Results

The Piaggio Group reported an 11.6% drop in net sales for the first quarter of 2013, the result of a struggling economy and unseasonably cold weather in Europe and a flatlining two-wheeler market in Vietnam. There was however some good news in North America, Vespa sales in India and a 27.8% increase in Moto Guzzi sales. According to the company’s first quarter report, Piaggio reported net sales of 303.4 million euros (US$396.8 million), down from net sales of 343.1 million euros reported the same quarter of 2012.

Ewan McGregor Donates Bike to Charity

Actor Ewan McGregor has introduced traveling long distances on motorcycles to the mainstream with the “Long Way Down” series. He is now trying to give UNICEF just as much exposure by donating one of his prized motorcycles to help raise money for the charity. “I’m donating my Moto Guzzi California motorcycle,” says McGregor, a UNICEF ambassador.
