Moto Guzzi Other description

Here is a chance to own a very rare and highly desired motorcycle. A 1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado police version. These were used by the LAPD and CHP Police departments in the'70's.

This particular bike was completely restored in 1998 by previous owner with new paint, engine / transmission overhauled etc. including the tachometer that now reads 27500 miles since restoration. The bike is 100% original, including mufflers, metal pan Police seat and everything else.. It has new tires, starts, shifts and runs really nice. I just had a complete service done with all new oils, valve adjustment, carbs rebuilt and new battery. I used it most days to go to the office. Really dependable rider! It shows a nice patina, minor scratches here and there and the seat cover has a couple of small cracks. You could re-cover it or just leave it like that!. This bike is not a garage queen, she is a daily rider!

This bike turns heads anywhere it goes! I remember 10 years ago when you could pick them up anywhere for $3k!! Not anymore! The price went to the sky! I have seen these Police bikes going on Ebay for $15/18k!! A sure investment for the future! Better than keep the money on the bank IMO.

I have shot a small video of the bike all around and with a cold start. I would be happy to send it to you if you provide me with your email address.

Title on hand, matching frame and engine numbers..I speak cash only! I might entertain trade offers for vintage bikes as BMW, Ducati, Laverda and Harleys FL..

Ps. the pictures do not show the new rear Progressive shock absorbers I installed last week.. The originals were shot and I tossed them in the garbage can.. It handles the curves 100 times better now!

Few believe that the true spirit of the Moto Guzzi brand is hidden in the sports cars of the 1970s and 1980s. But they are still in demand. Here is a great example of this from the Hamburg workshop Kaffeemaschine.

Moto Guzzi V7 Special, V7 Stone and V7 Racer Coming to US for 2013

    Wed, 26 Sep 2012

Piaggio announced it will bring its newly-updated V7 models to North America with sales to begin in mid-October. We’ve written about the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone, V7 Special and V7 Racer when they were first announced by Piaggio in March, and we already have a review of the V7 line up from our European correspondent Tor Sagen. As we predicted at the time the three 750cc models will be sold in North America as 2013 models.

New Moto Guzzi Microwebsite a One-stop Portal for Guzzi Fans Old and New

Guzzis aren’t for everyone, and Guzzisti are quite okay with that fact. While Moto Guzzi recognizes the dedication of Guzzi devotees, it also recognizes that it needs to grow the brand. Moto Guzzi USA, the North American importer of the Moto Guzzi brand, has announced a new “micro” site for Guzzis. The site, www.motoguzzioriginals.com, is part eye candy (actually, it’s very eye candy), part history, part marketing tool.
