I bought this new in June 2012 from Brooklyn Moto Guzzi, and that shop has maintained it lovingly. Oil changed before spring and Before Fall every year, Tune up once a year. New front tire, fairly new rear tire. Brakes serviced in '15. Extras include:
* Will include for $200 extra I used this for commuting and it is reliable as hell, and fun. Selling to buy a new one. This is my fourth Guzzi (Jackal, Bassa, Norge, Stelvio) and I'm buying a new one now. The bike has antilock brakes, traction control, factory fog lights and a 7 gallon tank. It gets about 32 miles/g in routine traffic and better when free spiriting on the highways. The bike has never been dropped; the scuffs are from traffic and being parked on city streets. Always indoor garaged at night and when not in use. I for $200 more I will include the Givi Trekker top case which will include the Givi mount. If not, I will restore the Moto Guzzi tail piece and remove the Givi topcase bracket. The case is $300+ and the topcase bracket is at least $99

Leaked Photo Shows 2013 Moto Guzzi California 1400 in Touring Trim
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Back in March, Piaggio Vice President of design Miguel Galluzzi revealed the Italian firm would release several versions of the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 including a full touring version. We’ve seen photographs of the new California in prototype form from Piaggio‘s North American dealer meeting, but we’ve now come across a picture of what looks like the final production version in full touring trim. The picture, appears to have been leaked from an official catalog photoshoot, shows the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 with hard bags, engine bars, extra lighting and windscreen.
EICMA 2013: Moto Guzzi V7 Series Updates
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Not to be left out of the 2013 EICMA show announcements, Moto Guzzi has announced its changes for the three models that make up the V7 line. Known for their 1970s-inspired style, the V7s are built, according to Moto Guzzi press materials, “to three fundamental pillars: the 90° transverse V-twin, the timeless double cradle frame and the renowned cardan shaft final drive.” Well, one of these pillars gets a functional update for 2014. The engine now utilizes a wet flywheel instead of the previous dry alternator.
Piaggio Reports 2011 Results
Thu, 23 Feb 2012The Piaggio Group reported a 9.8% increase in net income in 2011 thanks to rising demand for scooters and increased sales in Asia. According to Piaggio‘s annual fiscal report, the Italian company made a profit of 47.0 million (US$62.6 million) in 2011, compared to a net profit of 42.8 million euros in 2010. Net sales reached 1.52 billion euros (US$2.02 billion) in 2011, a year-on-year increase of 2.1% from the 1.49 billion euros reported in 2010.
