1971 XLCH, kick start only Sportster, supposedly it was originally modified by Smith and Fetro, it is an original S&F girder, I have most parts needed to finish it, mileage is unknown, but it is in good condition.  it is sitting on a pallet in a Motorcycle shop west of the Minneapolis metro area, I do have clear title in hand and need to move it... 1974 and earlier Sportster's had Right hand shift.  Was a project that I started but have not been able to complete... not a Yuppie bike, this is an ORIGINAL not old school bike..  Need to move it as my storage area is not going to be available much longer and I want to buy a bike to ride.  Buyer is responsible for pick up, or arranging a freight/shipping company, fork lift is available to load and can be left on the pallet.  Happy Bidding!

I bought this a few years ago on a quest to own every year GPZ-550, found out after I bought it that the motor was seized, I have most if not all the parts, I do have a clear title in hand and I am sure that someone looking for pieces for their GPZ 550 could find a bunch of valuable pieces in this basket case... 1999 FLTRI Road Glide, was my orginal demo in 1999, sold it, customer crashed it. I bought it back from the insurance company, rebuilt it with OEM frame, correct VIN number.  When I rebuilt it I put a 2001 and later swing arm on it with the new sealed ball bearing rear wheel, and stiffer rear swing arm, I also installed progressive suspension shock on it... the bike had just over 10,000 when it was crashed, after I rebuilt it I put about 22000 miles on it.
