Suzuki Cavalcade LX description

This Suzuki is the most comfortable motorcycle I've ever ridden. It is BIG and rides like a dream. It has auto air suspension, speed sensitive volume, cruise control, air inflatable passenger seat and back rest and enough hauling capacity to carry two weeks of groceries. It is ridden daily and has no mechanical issues. The work that has been done includes, rebuilt front forks, clutch and brake masters cleaned and fluid replaced, carbs synchronized and cooling system fluid changed. It has new tires, new brakes and the battery was replaced 6 months ago. The secondary drive was removed to inspect the rubber covered steel plug, (according to some Cavalcade forums, this plug had a tendency to drop into the drive unit and cause oil loss). The plug was replaced with new  one and further sealed with epoxy on the inside. A NOS updated driveshaft, (larger bearings bigger yoke), was also installed.

The fuel tank is clean with no signs of rust. There are a few scratches, (hey its 29 years old), and the emblems have fallen off the side covers. The front portion of the seat has a small tear and some small rubber components on the rear bumper are missing. The left side cover seems to have been repaired, (plastic welded on the inside) and shows no signs of weakness. The rear air shock dust boots are cracked but the shocks function perfectly and offer a silky smooth ride. When I purchased the bike it had only 25K miles. I've changed the oil and filters several times and just replaced the tires.

The aftermarket windshield is new, (it does not adjust). For cold weather ridding I added lowers, (with air vent doors). These original Suzuki parts have all of the cables attached but the lever control is not included, (vents must be opened and closed manually).

Because any motorcycle should be highly visible, I installed two sets of Clearwater LED lights with a dimmer control. There are no better lights on the market period! Since these two pair of lights cost well over $1000.00, I cannot let them go with the bike at the reserve price.

The Suzuki Cavalcade was made to last and most have amassed well over 100K miles with only regular maintenance.

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.

University Of Calgary Team Zeus To Compete In eMotoRacing Event At Miller Motorsports Park

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

eMotoRacing will hold it’s eighth race of the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park, in Tooele, Utah. Though there has been a great stirring of rumors as to who will be in attendance, one thing is certain — there will be a good mix of contestants, including the official Brammo racing team, and Team “ZEUS” of the University of Calgary. “ZEUS” stands for “Zero Emission Ucalgary Superbike,” and the team is comprised of engineers, business and physics majors. The team will be racing their Generation I bike, which uses an Agni 95-R motor mounted to the frame of a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600, which was straight from the factory, and then stripped of its gasoline engine components.
