Suzuki DR description

Great condition DR200 motorcycle with a number of aftermarket parts. Rides great, well taken care of. She's pretty capable offroad for trails, as long as you keep her off the jumps. Great for short commutes, in town, anything up to 70mph.

- FMF Exhaust - nice sound!
- Seat Concepts seat - a bit wider and more comfortable than stock
- Kientech jet and air box mod kit - more fuel and air going in, as well as extended fuel screw for easier adjustment
-Protaper Handlebars
- Acerbis Handguards
- Manracks rear rack.
- Aftermarket (larger) footpegs

I run synthetic oil and change it annually. Rear tire has 200 miles on it, front is in good shape. Both are 50/50 dual sport. Front brake pads and rotor have 400 miles. I have all records, including fillups since I bought it in December 2014.

I also have a 16T front sproket if the new owner wants to slightly change the gearing. Brings RPMS down a bit, more comfortable at highway speeds. I have it at 15T since I ride in town more than on the highway.

Say what you may about a small bike - but I say this is a solid performer for anything but motocross jumps and cross-country travel. I've done 500 mile trips on 200cc's and have been happy, as well as commute in town and run across back roads. Sure, we'd all love to have a BMW GS1200, but who has $20,000 to spend on a motorcycle?

I'm only selling it because my new health insurance does not cover motorcycle accidents and I can't risk it. This bike does not sit for long periods of time - I ride it to work at least 1-2x per week. My two motorcycles are going away (sadly) and I'll be stuck on a 50cc scooter!

*Mileage may increase slightly (+100 miles per week max) as I will be riding it while the auction is live. Will deliver within 150 miles of zip code 27517 for $0.54 per mile (standard IRS mileage rate). Motorcycle is available to view - contact me for info.

Dunno 'bout you but most of my sixteenth year was spent picking gravel out of my knees. I think I probably fell of my Fizzie at least once a week. All of it was my fault, of course.
