Suzuki GN description

1982 Suzuki GN125 turned cafe racer with board track inspiration. Sorry in advance if this is long winded or bad punctuation/grammar but want to cover everything I can that I have done to the bike. There are many man hours into this machine and it is far from stock, in fact at the only show I took it to (as its not really necessarily a show bike) the Ton Up Fest recently in Ypsilanti MI, it took home the most altered award. Feel free to check out Charlie James Customs on Facebook or Instagram for a few of the other projects I've done or search name on Pipeburn.com for a feature on myself as well as one of my previous builds. Title is clear but does have non actual mileage listed as the odometer was inoperable at time of purchase, last mileage listed was 14,xxx miles.

Forks lowered internally by making spacers and specific placement under top out spring essentially shortening stroke of fork then used much more heavy duty springs from a Honda cb350 for better spring rate as well as doing a mild polish on fork lowers.
Front wheel is stock and is painted and cleared.
Front fender brace is cut from a Kawasaki kz400 front fender.
Clip on bars from British company with a clubman style bend to them.
New generic ebay billet throttle housing and emgo vintage amal style levers/perches w/ smoked grips.
Shortened cables made, (clutch,frt/rear brake) nothing left long and lazily routed to take up slack.
Single bottom mount headlight with custom bracket believe it's Drag Specialties. Simple made aluminum dash plate holds ignition switch illuminated push start and headlight buttons.
Push buttons properly routed through automotive relays under the tank so switches are not load carrying.
Gas tank is from a early 70's Indian MX Enduro fabricated front and rear mounts to make sit properly on gn frame, tank was tapped for 1/4 npt fitting there is a brass trim ring around the fuel nipple, has inline filter can also add inline ball valve for fuel on/off.
Old School Speed rear sets with custom linkages and stainless tubing covering threaded portions.
Hand formed subframe shaped to attribute the seats shape.
Seat is American made brown leather solo bobber style seat.
Cross brace under seat doubles as battery holder.
Antigravity 4cell lithium excellent battery tons of crank power also under seat is a led brake light strip.
Under seat towards bottom of subframe is where the regulator/rectifier ecu and solenoid now live.
Carburetor was cleaned rejetted and pod filter installed.
Motor is all stock just fresh oil filter spark plug and valves adjusted.
Exhaust is from a Suzuki gs400 down tube welded to stock gn flange has internal baffle and white pipe wrap.
All hardware on bike is either new or cleaned up.
Wire harness was simplified shortened and all connections were hand soldered and shrink tubed no crimp connectors.
New chain.
Michelin Gazelle tires.
18" inch rear wheel from a Suzuki TS185 painted and cleared replaced the stock 16".
Swingarm is a 80's Yamaha yz upper mated to the lower gn arm for mono shock conversion.
Mono shock itself is heavy duty from a large gas scooter it is directly mounted to bikes backbone.
All bearings were checked repacked or replaced as needed.
Frame is just painted black and cleared.
Tank and front fender color is a golden sun yellow.
I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. Bike runs great stops great handles amazing very responsive feels like a bmx bike on rails. Motor runs strong and has torque pulls decent for small motor and will do 50mph it is a 5 speed, clutches were inspected all plates and fibers looked great and is tight feels good snappy. Bike is just a fun little cruiser that grabs tons of attention and really isn't anything else quite like it! Great to do short cruises or for display purposes. NO horn or signals but wiring in a switch/relay and mounting said items is not a big issue. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy viewing the pictures.

Wanted to add local pickup is fine, I will even deliver for a small fee within 150 miles of my location Ohio 43468. And have worked with other shipping companies and will help load and verify any information needed for said shipping company ultimately it is up to you to set up shipment of item be delivery or pickup etc...
