Suzuki GS tech info
Suzuki GS description
Single family owned, clean title, GREAT condition, always garaged Suzuki GS750 fours motorcycle. All original, not a rebuilt with 7595 original miles. See through windjammer. Comes with spare parts (some cable, and 1977 and 1978 cam covers), small original tool kit, 2 helmets and full bike cover, and original Clymer Suzuki owner service and repair manual. My father purchased this bike new, when he got too old to handle it (this is a very heavy bike), my older brother bought it. When his grandson became interested in buying it, I purchased it instead. It has been not been ridden in several years but we do start it and run it occasionally (last time 2 weeks ago). We do no ride, but someone who does took it for a spin and said the brakes need work, possibly just cleaning from sitting. I've tried to include photos of the only spots with wear, and the clear windjammer has a crack about 4-6 inches which I could not get to show up in the photos. |

Suzuki Building Second Factory in India
Mon, 23 Apr 2012Suzuki announced it will construct a new production facility in Gurgaon, India. The new facility, slated to open 2014, will produce models specifically for India, whose two-wheeled market scooped 13 million units in 2011 and likely more this year. Suzuki already has a facility in Gurgaon which opened in 2006, producing the Access and Swish scooters as well as the Sling Shot Plus and the GS150R (pictured above) motorcycles.
Suzuki GSX-R day at Snetterton
Wed, 21 Jul 2010I have to hold my hands up and make a confession. I have completely changed my mind about Suzuki’s GSX-R1000 K9. Back in the depths of winter I rode our long termer and found myself (without trying) doing jail-sentence speeds by doing nothing other than short shifting through the gear on half throttle.
Knee-high land-speed record device
Wed, 28 Jul 2010This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.
