Suzuki GS tech info
Suzuki GS description
I bought this motorcycle from its second owner in 1990. At that time I rebuilt carbs, air boots, wheel bearings, tires. I rode it until 2008 when it started to have issues with the starter motor when the engine was hot. I was getting divorced at this time and had no place to work on the bike so I put it into my storage facility where it sits covered currently. It ran well when I put it away. It has always been stored inside. The tachometer and odometer no longer work; the odometer shows 15315 miles and I'd have to guess there are another 2K on the bike.
The gas tank does have rust inside. The tubed tires are flat. There are surface scratches to the tank's original paint. The side covers are intact. The original seat has only a tiny tear and the seat pan has no rust. The original mirrors and turn signals are intact. There is no reserve price as I need to get it out of my storage facility. You will need to come to Clinton, CT to pick it up. Do not expect to ride it home. Thanks for looking at my posting. |

2014 WSBK – Phillip Island Results
Sun, 23 Feb 2014When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
2014 WSBK – Donington Results
Mon, 26 May 2014Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Suzuka Eight Hour capers
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
