Suzuki GS description

2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 Turbo. This bike has 265hp and currently holds the Hawaii State record for ¼ mile street bikes at 8.4 seconds. Not bad for a Hawaii track. All work was done at RevTek Speed and Tuning. The frame, swing arm, and some other parts are actually hand polished and not chrome. The panels has a custom paint job by Cosmic Custom Airbrush. The Japanese style tattoo artwork is the theme of the bike. On the front is a Mask of Hannya and the tail has Raijin (Thunder God) and Fujin (Wind God). See link for more images and videos. When John Reynolds was pushing me hard in the late nineties for BSB titles he was always polite and would happily stop to chew the fat and talk about the weather. But that was the limit of our friendship as he never wanted to like rivals too much, just in case it affected his competitive edge. These days, he has no great desire to barge me off the track at Redgate or Cascades so when our paths cross we happily spend time sorting out the problems of the world.

Brammo Electric Motorcycles Eligible to Race Against Gas-Powered Bikes in AFM

Electric Brammo motorcycles will share the grid with gas-powered motorcycles in American Federation of Motorcyclists competitions. The AFM, America’s oldest motorcycle road racing body, announced Brammo riders can compete head-to-head for championships against those riding internal combustion engine motorcycles. The Brammo Empulse R, Empulse TTX and Empulse RR will be eligible for competition.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
