Suzuki GSX-R description

Selling my 05 GSXR-1000. I've had the bike for a couple of years now. It's been fun, but I just don't have much use for it anymore. I think I only put about 2,000 miles on it this past summer. I'm the third owner. First owner bought it from a dealership and sold it back with about 900 miles on it. Second owner had it until I bought it from him. The bike has been down once, but not in a moving accident. Someone backed into it in a parking lot. An insurance claim took care of all damages. The damage was only cosmetic. 31,060 miles. Title is 100% clean and clear.

- Grand Prix White Double Pearl Paint
- Gold Shorty Levers
- Powdercoated Gold Rims
- Two Brothers Carbon Fiber Exhaust
- Integrated Smoked LED Brake Light
- Smoked Tail Light Turn Signals Front/Mirrors
- Gold Accents and Bolts
- 10 Tube LED Underglow
- Lithium Ion Battery

The bike was bone stock when I bought it. Every visual and performance mod was done while I owned the bike. Overall it's a great motorcycle. Runs great, starts up every time. Fuel Injected. Spark Plugs were just changed about 500 miles ago, oil was changed about 1,500 miles ago. I ran a can of sea foam through it every 3,000 miles.

If interested please e-mail, text, or call. Any contact method is fine with me. Serious inquiries only please, and no low balling. I know what the bike is worth. I've sold them and worked on them for years. I'm asking $4200 OBO. Bike also comes with a matching White, Leather, GSXR jacket (Size Large).

The bike does not have tags or insurance on it. I removed them because I won't be riding it anymore. So if you decide to purchase the bike it is your responsibility to figure out how to transport it.

The bike MUST be picked up. I will not ship it anywhere. I will only accept CASH IN HAND. No cashiers checks, no money orders, no PayPal transactions.

If you're in the area and you'd like to look at it before you place a bid or "buy it now" please contact me via eBay messages and request a time to come look at it. Thanks.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

2013 AMA Superbike Daytona Race Report

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

The story leading up to the opening round of the 2013 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season was whether anyone would be able to keep up with defending champion Josh Hayes. After all, the Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider dominated the competition last season winning 16 of 20 races including a string of 10 in a row. The season-opening round at Daytona International Speedway appeared to start on script with Hayes qualifying in pole position.

MWR Air Filters Claim Amazing Power Improvement

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

From the News That Sounds Too Good To Be True But, Boy, Do We Hope It Is Department, MWR Air Filters wants riders to know that its MWR High Efficiency Air Filters are breaking new ground in air filtration technology. While the company’s name might not be commonplace among performance oriented riders – yet – some pretty big names are using MWR filters even though the company doesn’t pay sponsorship dollars. According to MWR’s press release, “the reigning WSBK champion, Tom Sykes uses MWR Air Filters in his Kawasaki ZX10R.” Also, 17 riders at the Isle of Man TT were running with MWR filters.
