1985 Suzuki RG500 located in Santa Ana, California. Bike has 11,722 KM = 7033 Miles on it. Engine ran o k when we purchased the bike about 1 year ago. The carbs to be cleaned now. The upper and lower fairings are cracked. The wheels on the bike are Campagnolo Magnesium. Wheels are period correct for this bike and are the same wheels used on the racers. The wheels alone are worth between $1500.00-$2000.00. A new set costs about $3500.00. Bike also has a Daytona steering damper on it. We don't have a title for this bike. Bike is sold with a bill of sale only. Ask questions and look at the pictures carefully before you bid. Bike is sold as is, no returns. Buyer to arrange the shipping. Local pick up is ok. Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

Wed, 27 Nov 2013Suzuki has released new images of its turbocharged Recursion concept. Revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the Recursion, along with Kawasaki’s supercharged inline-Four engine herald a return to forced induction motorcycles last commonly seen in the ’80s. According to Suzuki, the Recursion’s 588cc parallel-Twin engine with an intercooler turbo produces 99 hp at 8000 rpm while also claiming 74 ft-lb.
Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans
Wed, 09 May 2012NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.
