12K invested in this bike. Believe it or not I am a novice rider who only began riding 5 years ago and only rode the bike maybe 5 times a year as I never really got into this sport and was always afraid of getting hurt. This bike has never been raced or crashed. It is in perfect running condition. Now that I'm pushing 60 years old I have decided to sell it to someone who can ride it the way it deserves to be ridden. Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 – Gixxer Thou Updated with a Focus on Weight Savings
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Suzuki has updated its GSX-R1000 sportbike for 2012 with Brembo monobloc calipers and a new single-pipe exhaust system. Last updated in 2009, the 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 also receives a number of updates to the the engine to the wiring harness to even the front tire to to reduce overall weight by 4.4 pounds. The new GSX-R has a claimed curb weight of 447.5 pounds.
