Suzuki SV description

Found in a garage after a few years of inactivity. Flushed engine then new oil & filter 2x, rebuilt carbs, new clutch, clutch cable, tires, brake caliber rebuild x2, flushed both brake fluids, flushed & rinsed tank, new air filter...
It is ready to go and go it will! the Micron carbon fiber slip on is not too loud and sounds very nice. Carb is jetted to match. New fork oil and adjusted head stock making it silky smooth in corners. The tires take a minute to warm up but are glue after that. They have about 400 miles on them now. The bike tracks very well in corners. It has a scuffle on the left side fairing, image included. Can be fixed with touch up only. otherwise it is clean. I can photo any particulars you wish to see.
This is a first year S Model and is a perfect all around bike. Easy enough to ride and small enough for a new rider but with enough torque and ability to keep you smiling for years. There are a million accessories available including full fairings, different seats and windshields... to fit it to your purpose. All parts including oem have been readily available.  I am building a chopper with my son and cant keep all the bikes in the garage.
The bike is located in Canton CT and can be seen by appt. I will work with you for delivery in the North East if needed. I put a lot of work into making this bike perfect and I am hoping for someone that will enjoy it for years.
Reserve is 1000, I have over 2500 into it now,

Isle of Man TT 2014: Dainese Superbike TT Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

Michael Dunlop won a historic Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2014 Isle of Man TT week. Riding the S1000RR, Dunlop secured BMW its first win on the Isle of Man since Georg Meier won on a Type 255 Kompressor in 1939. After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.

Hopper,Cogger and Rossigate

Rizla Suzuki welcomed back John Hopkins to Jerez and by the end of day one the American was posting some very respectable lap times. To me it seems like yesterday, but it was way back in 2007 when he last rode for the British based team ending the season 4th in the World Championship. The dry qualifying went well but he wasn’t too upset when it rained on race day as he admitted to not being bike fit and would have struggled to maintain a fast dry race pace.

R&G announce cheaper engine case cover kits

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

R&G Racing has reacted to the rising cost of official motorcycle parts from manufacturers by creating money saving packages on its Engine Case Covers. As a reaction to the parts price rise, the crash protection leader has created a kit package on its Engine Case Covers (ECC) – offering an overall saving of more than 10% when compared to buying the items individually. The ECCs are designed to protect the engine cases and the inner workings of the motor in the event of a drop by acting as a sturdy ‘second skin’.By simply bolting over the original items, fitting the durable Engine Case Covers doesn’t require draining any engine fluids or replacing gaskets. Extensively developed in the ACU R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy, as well as being tested and approved by the California Superbike School in the UK and USA, the covers can allow a bike to be ridden after a crash or prevent terminal engine damage from oil leaks or casing punctures.Protection benefits aside, financial savings for riders are evident by looking at official parts prices; to replace only the clutch cover on a Suzuki GSX-R1000K7 would cost £206 including a new gasket, but all three R&G Engine Case Covers for this bike cost only £143.
