This 2013 SFV650 Gladius has a 90 degree V-Twin double overhead cam engine. It is liquid cooled, has a chain drive, 6 speed transmission, and a compact open trellis frame. The bike is pretty much stock except for the exhaust slip on. This is a great handling machine and has been flagged as being one of the most capable bikes in it's class. The SV series bike from Suzuki has had a very large following and it has been around for close to 20 years.
Since I took pictures of this bike I have replaced both tires. (could have used a rear only but thought it would be nice to offer up brand new tires both front and rear) Please note that the speedometer glass has a few scratches on it most likely from a key ring with a few keys on it. Also, the exhaust has some discoloring on the header. The two items mentioned are both pictured as not no mislead or misrepresent the bike in any way. Schwantz, who last year finished third at Suzuka riding for Team Kagayama, is part of the Yoshimura Suzuki Shell Advance Legend Racing Team and will ride alongside his 1986 Suzuka 8-Hour partner Satoshi Tsujimoto and Suzuki Moto GP test rider Nobuatsu Aoki. James Stewart Suspended After Positive Drug Test
Fri, 20 Jun 2014AMA Supercross and Motocross racer James Stewart has been provisionally suspended by the International Motorcycling Federation after a drug sample tested positive for amphetamines. The positive test was from the April 12 AMA Supercross round in Seattle. The three podium finishes in the 450 class in Seattle were tested.
2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
