Suzuki SV description

I've got an '08 SV650 with 2500 miles on it and several awesome upgrades. This bike is blacked out with flat black paint and smoked windscreen. Fender eliminator kit is installed, and it's got Delkevic Exhaust which gives it a deep and throaty mean sound. I got this bike in July 2012 and have been largely unable to ride it due to a knee surgery. I bought it from a dealer that had gotten it in an insurance auction as a salvage and rebuilt it. He said that the only thing that was wrong with it was a dented tank (replaced) and a couple of small scratches on the main frame. In NC, if the frame gets even scratched, the bike gets totaled. I purchased it as a rebuild, but in the time that I've owned it, I've not found ANY issues with it other than the very very slight scuffs that are visible on the side of the frame.

Let me know if you've got any other questions about it. I'll help with shipping, but shipping costs are on buyer.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

Shots Fired at Suzuki Motorcycle India Factory as Labor Strife Heats Up

Tue, 11 Oct 2011

A man is facing charges after reports of gunshots and employees allegedly assaulted with glass bottles at Suzuki’s motorcycle plant in Gurgaon, India, as workers demonstrated in a sympathy strike in support of their counterparts at a Suzuki automobile plant. According to the Indian Express, a man representing a company which supplies contract workers for Suzuki Motorcycle India allegedly fired his gun into the air and assaulted workers with beer bottles to intimidate them into calling off the strike. Two people were reportedly injured by thrown bottles.

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
