Suzuki T350 description

I have for sale a very nice 1971 Suzuki T350 "Rebel". This low mile/clear titled bike runs well and starts easy. It is in overall very nice shape but shows some wear hear and there. Overall the chrome is good. The main defects are chrome flaking on the light bucket and some on the fork ears and a bit on the rear light holder. The exhaust has some scratches/dings  on the bottom sides and a few minor areas of pitting.Still they are very decent and look good. The fenders are mostly good but the front fender was cut about 1"off the front by a  former owner. The seat cover was done by the former owner too, not an original but still nice. The tires are a little weathered and are most likely the original tires. I bought this bike from an owner who had started a restoration. I finished the job by doing almost a complete tear down and rebuild of the machine. I painted the bike the original gold color for that year. I'm a painter of 30 years and used quality base/clear urethane.I  polished every inch of the chrome so it really shines like new now. I added new Suzuki foot pegs both front and rear. The carbs were cleaned and new float valves were installed. The bike had new points and condensers already in it too.The gas tank is nice and clean inside and was not dented when I started on it. New rear shocks were installed.  I installed a new battery. Cleaned and adjusted the brakes. Cleaned out the oil lines. Installed new exhaust gaskets. Took apart the triple tree and greased the bearings in the neck. The bike really does run nice and is a rare find in this nice of shape. The head and tail light work as they should, as do the  blinkers and horn. The indicator lights in the tach need replacing. I will be listing of few other restored bikes this week too. Open to decent offers....  Call with questions  Jim 507-227-6052

I will be adding more pictures of this bike soon.
I have the missing front fork reflector in the mail to me soon.
The bike has the chrome cone air filters on the carbs now but I have the original air box and boot for it.
I will be installing a new clutch this week, I already have the new clutch plates ordered and will install them when they arrive. That will also give me a chance to polish up the clutch cover to match the rest of the bike.

The Making of the Rizla Suzuki Misano Micron Livery [Video]

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

Suzuki is a bit of an underdog in the MotoGP World Championship – at least, as much of an underdog as a full factory outfit can be. With just one Suzuki on the grid, expectations are low for the Japanese manufacturer. But one thing Suzuki does do well is put out an attractive looking racebike with the GSV-R dressed in Rizla Suzuki blue with livery by Troy Lee Designs.
