Suzuki TC185 description

Here is a very nice 1976 Suzuki TC185 Enduro. This bike offers the hi-lo feature in the gear box, for hiway riding or trail riding, with 5 high range gears and 5 low range gears. It is also offers kick start and electric start, one of the first enduro bikes of its class to offer both. This bike starts easily, idles great, and runs strong. It has the CCI oil induction system so there is no pre mixing of the gas and oil. The inside of the gas tank is clean, all lights and electricals work as they should, including stop light, turn signals, high and low beam headlight, horn and electric start. The rear tire, battery, spark plug and air filter have all been replaced recently, the front tire has great tread, but is just starting to show a very minor amount of weather checking. It also has the handy luggage rack on the back.

The outside of the tank has a very small ding, and a few minor scratches, as well as a little bit of black paint spots. The chrome heat shield on the exhaust pipe has minor damage, the gauge lenses are a little stained, and the gauge needles are a little discolored. All gauges work as they should, but the odometer reset does not work correctly. The seat is perfect, and the side tank is very nice. It is missing one mirror, and the existing mirror has some rust issues. The right hand grip is torn, but still operates correctly. The wheels are in excellent condition. There are a few minor scratches in various places, and a little bit of riding dirt, but overall this is a very, very clean, original condition classic enduro. The odometer shows 2,4xx miles, and I have the clear Colorado title in my name. In Colorado, vehicles older than 10 years of age are noted as mileage exempt on the title. The free and clear title is issued by the State of Colorado, and is in my name. This bike is ready to ride!

As this bike is also for sale locally, the auction may be ended early. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, PLEASE check your shipping costs prior to bidding. This is a 40 year old, original enduro, no warranty is offered written or implied. A 500.00 deposit is required upon winning the auction, the balance to be paid by certified funds prior to the bike leaving my possession. I have been an ebay seller since 2004, and have sold numerous classic cars and bikes with no issues. I believe in honest descriptions, and clean transctions. I will not disclose the reserve, please just bid what you think it is worth to you, hopefully it will be yours! Please check out the pictures, ask questions, then bid with confidence!

2013 AIMExpo: Suzuki Unveils GW250

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

Suzuki unveiled a new lightweight naked standard motorcycle at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) – the GW250. Powered by a 248cc liquid cooled in-line twin-cylinder engine, the GW250 would seem an ideal choice for newcomers not interested in sportbikes like the Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Editor-in-Chief Kevin Duke had a chance to ride the newest Suzuki and will be providing a review in the coming days.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.
