Suzuki ts-185 description

Here I have for sale a vintage 1971 Suzuki TS 185 Enduro motorcycle that has 4695 miles on it. I Used the bike as a Pit bike at the Drag Strip, and It usually starts on the first or second kick.  See pictures too.  Decent looking bike for being 45+ yrs old.   Has a new fuel petcock, air filter, Rubber boot between air box and Carburetor, Clutch cable, front brake cable, and throttle cables.  Although not original, seat cover is in good shape.  Tank could benefit from a paint job and has a couple dents in it and frame could use some fresh black paint too.   It has a Bassani exhaust pipe and a front fork brace that was installed back in the early seventies and I knew the 2 previous owners also.  These bikes are increasing in value to collectors as well as everyday people that would enjoy operating such a Vintage machine.  It does need some cosmetic work but mechanically it's good daily rider. This is a Cash in hand deal so I can then hand you the clear title.  Cash and carry item. I also have this forsale on Craigslist as well as posters that I have posted locally too so I will end sale early if I sell locally. P.S. Please Note That This Is A Cash  Transaction Due To There Is A Title that will need to be signed at the time of the Sale.  There is a $100 dollar Deposit due at end of sale.   See Pictures too.    I only ship to lower 48 continental United States.  I thank you for looking and checkout my other items if you have time. See my feed back it's 100% and I aim to keep it that way so buy with confidence.

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks

Mon, 21 May 2012

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The cartridge kits have compression and rebound adjustment in both legs and are supplied with 1.5mm Flow Control Valves for a more accurate adjustment, all necessary hardware is supplied to convert the Big Piston Forks to take the cartridges but it is necessary to order the springs you require as these are not included, customer price for the 25SSK cartridges is £725.00 + VAT and are available for the following models:- Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX10-R 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR600 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 2009-2012 Contact K-Tech on: +44(0)1283 559007.

Dropped Suzuki Dealerships Represented Only 2.5% of Retail Sales

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

American Suzuki raised some eyebrows after news broke yesterday the company was cancelling franchise agreements with numerous dealerships in the U.S. The company was already under close scrutiny after making the bold decision to quit selling cars to focus on powersports when it filed for Chapter 11 in November. Reducing its dealer network appears to go against that idea, at least on the surface.

Why I love BSB's Showdown

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

It has lovers, haters and even many that still don't understand it but everyone in British bike racing is currently talking about the BSB Showdown.  With my rider's or team manager's hat on, I wasn't convinced when it was first announced in 2010 but I'm now totally converted and enjoy every part of the season as intensity increases.  And being a value for money Scot the best thing is you get four championships under one umbrella.  Championship # 1; In the early rounds everyone on the grid has aspirations of taking the title but as the season progresses, the focus narrows down to making sure you secure that top six showdown spot over the first nineteen races (riders can also drop their worst two results).  Championship #2; For the confident front runners, over these races, the real goal is the podium credit championship (3 for 1st ,2 for 2nd,1 for 3rd) which then gives them a points head start after things are put back to zero for the final seven race shoot-out.  Championship #3; The best of the rest championship (7th and below) that will be battled over the final races. Championship # 4;  Over the final seven races the British Superbike Champion is crowned. The recent adding and reshuffling a few top name riders for the Showdown has already spiced things up so hold on tight for the remaining five races!
