Triumph Bonneville description

Rare opportunity to bid on and buy a classic old school Triumph Chopper.

Based on a 1973 Triumph 750 Bonneville, this bike has a custom frame, polished cases, Joe Hunt mag and a House of Color metallic paint job. This bike is show quality through and through with great attention to detail and was featured in The Horse magazine and many local bike shows. This is a good running one or two kick starting bike, awesome condition, ready to ride or display, clear KS title being sold for a good friend of mine with no reserve.

Frame.
Custom with input and welding by a professional frame builder, 40 hours of molding and candy metallic paint from House of Color using Orion Silver base, candy violet purple with lots of flake! Applied by a skilled and artistic craftsman who previously painted for Big Dog Choppers here in Wichita.
Powdercoated black rims, Harley forks, spool front wheel, Sportster rear re-lased with new spokes, PM caliper and rotor. Powder coated rabbit ear bars, custom hand made leather seat, vintage headlight and custom vet syringe hand shifter. No horn or speedo fitted, just a battery and box, on/off switch and dimmer with all wiring hidden inside the frame tubes for a very clean look.

Motor
1973 Triumph Bonneville 5 speed, Fully polished cases, rebuild approx 1000 miles ago, sludge trap cleaned, new pistons and rings, valves, springs and new bearings throughout. Polished Joe Hunt magneto, 30 mm Mikuni carbs, functioning charging system and custom jet coated exhaust pipes.

2014 Triumph America Horizon Revealed in CARB Documentation

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal the existence of a new model from Triumph to be called the America Horizon for the 2014 model year. As its name implies, the 2014 Triumph America Horizon will likely be based on the existing Triumph America (the 2012 America is pictured above with touring accessories as an illustration.) The CARB documents confirm it will use the same 865cc parallel-Twin engine as the America as well as the Bonneville, Scrambler, Thruxton and the Speedmaster. We predict a claimed output of 60hp at 6800rpm and 53 ft-lb.
