Triumph Bonneville description

Completely refreshed t140e Bonneville,
new rings standard bore, head rebuilt. new fork tubes including seals and progressive springs. All new rubber, Tires like new, paint in perfect condition, tank original not reproduction and not lined. All hardware is either original or stainless. New harness installed with original rita ignition. Starts first kick hot or cold and idles like new. No Smoke or abnormal noises. Original seat and have keys for lock. I have put over 600 miles on bike since rebuild and have re torqued the head at 500 like the manual states. All gauges/lights work as they should. Nice original Triumph, Mufflers are repro dunstall type but head pipes are original english. Great bike wouldnt hesitate to ride anywhere. Front fender has a small crack that has been welded by the back, but cant notice.

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer have collaborated to create a special, one-of-a-kind “Bonneville Heuer” Triumph motorcycle. The association between Triumph and TAG Heuer comes as a result of their common values and the legacy of Steve McQueen, who was famously linked to both brands. The TAG Heuer Bonneville features a unique blue and orange paint scheme that was inspired by the Porsche sports car driven by Steve McQueen’s character in the movie Le Mans (1971).

This beautifully shot short film alludes to a phrase by Robert M Pirsig, the author of Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance: "If the machine produces tranquility it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed".  But is any Triumph single ever capable of producing a sensation of tranquility, even when it is 'right'? I suspect not...
