Beautiful original 2001 Bonneville.
Bike has seen no falls or insults. Some light scratches on the tank are related to age. Clean title. Updates on the bike include triumph off road exhausts (can swap with originals if buyer desires), foam filter for easier maintenance and harley sportster bars (can swap with originals as well if desired). Nothing was cut from the bike and it is essentially in stock condition. Maintenance done on the bike includes carb cleaning within the past year and recent oil change and chain adjustment. I'm the second owner and the prior owner did the 12k servicing. Willing to show in person for any reasonable and serious buyer. Located in NYC. Buyer to organize shipping within continental USA if not picking up in person. |

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Thu, 29 Sep 2011Crashes occur fairly often during motorcycle races but rarely do we see a race bike get as spectacularly demolished as this Triumph Daytona 675. The crash took place during the Sept. 11 Donington Park round of the Triumph Triple Challenge, a support class in the British Superbike series featuring the Triumph Daytona 675. Rider Ash Beech low sides going into a corner and thankfully slides relatively safely into the grass.
Recall for 2011-2012 Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC for Engine Management Software
Thu, 25 Aug 2011Triumph issued a recall for the 2011 and 2012 Tiger 800 and 800XC adventure tourers due to a bug in the engine management software. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Triumph Tigers’ 800cc Triple engine may stall during deceleration. Riders may also notice lower RPMs indicated on the tachometer at idle.
