2009 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE CAFE RACER WITH WATER DAMAGE! Bike arrived running with the fluids already drained by the insurance company. After sitting in the garage for some time it started acting funny becoming harder to start. Bike "does not run !" at this time! I have a feeling it is fuel related , most probably the carb/injection system. Clutch lever broke in transit , alloy rims are a bit pitted, front fender has a small crack towards the front tip. Bike has a British customs exhaust, Norman Hyde bars, dart tinted windscreen, café style tail etc. Production date: 2-09. 1st year for fuel injection. Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a standard good New Jersey "F" title for flood history. In the state of New Jersey you can register this bike with no issues. Please check your local title laws before bidding. This is not a salvage title. I can arrange shipping at a reasonable rate. We are located 45 minutes from major NJ ports for export. Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
Triumph Sets Sales Record but Suffers First Operating Loss Since 2009
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Triumph sold 52,089 motorcycles from its fiscal year ended June 30, 2013, setting a new company record for annual sales. At the same time, the company announced an operating loss of £95,000 (US$155,300), the company’s time in the red since 2009. Much of the operating loss was caused by foreign currency exchanges and the cost of starting up manufacturing facilities in Brazil and India.
2006-2009 Triumph Daytona 675 and Street Triple Recalled
Mon, 24 Sep 2012Triumph is issuing a recall on the Daytona 675, the Street Triple and the Street Triple R for model years 2006-2009. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the regulator rectifier on the affected Triumph units may overheat, damaging its internal components. This may affect the regulator rectifier’s ability to control the charge capacity of the batteries, potentially leading the battery to become discharged completely.
