New clutch basket and clutch roller bearings. New carburetors (Amal Monobloc) New header pipes and mufflers New battery, wiring Harness New high output alternator New control cables New Boyer electronic ignition (New 6v Coils) Reconditioned tachometer and speedometer New oil pump (Spin on Norton oil filter fitted) Every seal and bearing replaced (in the Engine and in the frame) Respray all frame parts and tank/Fenders to original factory color. New seat and seat foam Original tool kit New tires, and final drive chain Pink slip in hand tags until June 2017 500 miles since complete restoration receipts for over $7000, I also have manuals and restoration photographs. Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.
