Very rare Triumph Junior bought from England with an honest 60 PSI compression . I installed a working Mag & new chain with new mag sprocket & bracket. I used a Villiers carb but not correct for the engine. Runs great, Bore is about 1 7/8" & 13/4" stroke. The output shaft is tapered & is about 5/8" with a number 41 sprocket ten tooth.6 1/2" Dia flywheel. ENGINE HIEGHT 13" H X W 5 " X L 11" & weight about 20lb. Great bottom end no play in bushings.No fins broken & comes with original flat tank decales enamel over brass. Working decompression. Needs lever & cable. Riding round the north of Scotland
Mon, 20 Aug 2012I’m ashamed to say that until last week, I had no idea what incredible roads and scenery the North West of Scotland had to offer. Starting at Helensburgh just west of Glasgow, ten of us (including ex racers Duffus, MacPherson, Morrison and Simpson,) rode 600 miles round the coast then back down to Inverness. On mostly empty but immaculate roads we lost count of the mountains, lochs and sandy beaches along the way.
