A just completed racer, no title. Nice rims, spool front, K70s. New Alpha and right bushing main, close ratio, very serviceable used bore with matching 10 1/2 to 1 piston, used but serviceable head. Keihin carb, lightened and polished rockers with end float, R cam. Battery and points. Other mods very typical of 60's era racing. Comes with a big bore head and cylinder, but the next guy will have to do the rest of the stuff to make that happen. New paint, solo Bates seat, race it as it sits or develop in to what ever you would like it to be. A street tracker, a dirt bike, a pit bike or whatever. There are no brakes on this bike , but the rear hub is stock and a brake plate and pedal can easily be added.

Single sided chain adjustment

We don’t get the manuals with our long term bikes and I didn’t want swallow my pride and ask triumph how to adjust the chain on the Speed Triple. For the life of me I couldn’t figure it out. The single side swing arm with centrally mounted disk is a work of art but how the hell you are supposed to adjust the thing?

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Triumph to Mark 110th Anniversary with Special Edition Bonneville T100

Triumph will celebrate the 110th anniversary of the brand with a special edition version of the Bonneville T100. The current Hinckley-based Triumph Motorcycle company has only been around since 1984 but the original Triumph Engineering Co. first began producing motorcycles in 1902.
