Triumph Other description

I am selling this bike for a friend who currently has health issues. He has had the bike for several years and was going to turn it into an AHRMA race bike.

What you see is what you get.

The bike has matching engine and frame numbers. As you can see someone before my friend was making this into a chopper. The bike comes with NEW Triumph alloy fenders and New exhaust pipes. The gas tank is in reasonable condition. The forks have extended tubes and front wheel appear to be standard.

Currently the bike has a conical rear wheel, but the original rear wheel comes with it. The engine turns over but its condition is unknown.

The bike is being sold with a bill of sale. In Michigan race bikes from this period were not always sold with a title.

If you have questions, please ask and I will do my best to answer them. There is no Buy it Now price.

New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's

Thu, 24 Mar 2011

Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.

2014 Triumph America Horizon Revealed in CARB Documentation

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal the existence of a new model from Triumph to be called the America Horizon for the 2014 model year. As its name implies, the 2014 Triumph America Horizon will likely be based on the existing Triumph America (the 2012 America is pictured above with touring accessories as an illustration.) The CARB documents confirm it will use the same 865cc parallel-Twin engine as the America as well as the Bonneville, Scrambler, Thruxton and the Speedmaster. We predict a claimed output of 60hp at 6800rpm and 53 ft-lb.

Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Triumph has updated its Rocket III cruiser for 2013, adding more blacked-out components and a new seat, but perhaps the most significant change is what Triumph took away: the electronic torque limiter. Previous versions of the Triumph Rocket III and the Rocket III Touring variant had its power and torque neutered in the first three gears. The reins are off for 2013 however, with the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine delivering full power in all gears.
