LQQK !! LOW RESERVE !!

PLEASE READ ALL AUCTION TEXT TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION !!!

Reluctantly selling my 1967 650 TR6C Trophy. This bike deserves better than I can do right now. :( I feel like a bad father. lol. I've owned this bike for years and ridden it once when I bought it. That's what happens when you have 28 bikes in your garage :).

So here's the history....I bought this from the second owner who purchased it in 1970. He chromed the oil tank, tool box, triple clamps, headlight bucket, footrests etc. as you can see. Apart from that it's all stock. Mileage is genuine as it was a garage queen. He'd also painted the fuel tank which I had pulled and had repainted back to stock colors. It has all the competition items, folding footrests, E.T. coils, small headlight and I also have the stock, original, re-chromed slash cut high pipes that go with it. The engine looks like it's never been apart, all fasteners are in great shape. I want to stress that the bike does not currently run but has good spark and compression. It ran when I purchased it, I pulled the tank to paint it and then it sat for the last four years in a climate controlled shop. Tank needs petcocks and installing. It really should only need an oil service, tune up and gas. I also have the original air cleaner, a tank mount kit and new petcocks and petcock seals for it too. Great bike to restore or even better if you just want a bike to ride as is. Matching numbers and clear title. Needless to say these are simply getting more scarce all the time.

Triumph Speed - A City Tool

Thu, 29 Apr 2010

The Triple and I have covered 2500 miles now and most of that has been commuting through London. Last year I was riding Kawasaki’s ZX-6R and the constant gear changing, braking and acceleration was taking its toll. After 5000 miles the Kwak was feeling loose, rough and generally hard to ride smoothly.

Prince William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
