Triumph Other description

This is the last and best of my collector bikes as I’m regretfully retiring from my ownership of these fine vintage motorcycles do to personal reasons. I’ve held on to this TR5T Trophy Trail the longest because it is easy to start (the 500s are much easier than the 650s and 750s). This bike has been in collector caring ownership it’s entire life. I purchased it from a collector out on the west coast a few years ago. She’s always been garaged in climate controlled environment.  The only parts that have been replaced since original purchase are the front tire, tube and battery…just done this year. I have originals if interested. No reproduction parts. She's 100 percent original overall.

This gorgeous Trophy Trail runs and rides like the day it was purchased from the dealer. It’s looks are like fine jewelry with the polished aluminum and perfect chrome throughout. It will start on first or second kick and best of all the clutch doesn’t drag from being out of adjustment like so many Triumphs are.

This may be the nicest unrestored original survivor Trophy Trail in the country. The 1,873 miles logged on the odometer is genuine. Every nut, screw and bolt is original and has never been removed or messed with since the factory. Please look at the pics of the screws on the engine carefully.

This is a matching numbers 1973 bike. The frame and engine numbers match. The number is PH19025. I will mention that I do have a title that is open and clean. It is titled as a 1974. This was perfectly normal as many Triumph dealers sold the bikes later in the next year. I have a ’67 Triumph TR4 sports car that is titled as a 1968. Same situation.

I have drained the gas tank for shipment. I can be reached at 478 957 9778 for questions and specifics. If you have an genuine offer or if you need full sized pics please call.

There is no warranty either stated or implied. This vehicle is being sold in "as is" condition.

A $250 deposit will be required at the end of the auction. The remainder to be paid in full within seven (7) days after auction.

Triumph Releases Third Adventure Bike Teaser Video

Fri, 03 Sep 2010

Triumph has released the third in a series of videos teasing its two upcoming adventure motorcycles, this one describing the bikes’ new chassis. We know from the first two installments that Triumph is developing two models, one focused for on-road riding, the other for off-road, and both models will use a mid-sized long-stroke three-cylinder engine. The third part tells us the two models will use a steel frame and feature an upright riding geometry.
