2013 Brooklands Green Triumph Thruxton in perfect condition. I had the dealer install the Arrow stainless steel full exhaust system which is a complete two into two system that sounds awesome. I also have the stock exhaust system that will be included with the bike. The exhaust, labor and ecu download cost $1400 itself. The bike has the remainder of the factory two warranty which is good until February 2015. The bike has only 350 miles on it and only gets ridden on the week-ends. The bike has never been wet or ridden in the rain. The bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I may consider a trade for a clean Kawasaki H2 750. Recall for 2010 Triumph Thunderbird
Mon, 16 May 2011Triumph Motorcycles is starting a recall campaign on certain 2010 Thunderbird cruisers due to a problem with the front fender fasteners. On certain 2010 Triumph Thunderbirds, including some ABS-equipped units, the four screws on the front fender mounts may come loose. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the plating used on the fender mounting included friction modifiers which are not compatible with the thread lock compound used on the screws.

50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
