This bike is just like new!  Only 26 actual miles!  Read the specs these are sweet bikes and yes it has independent suspension, ABS and I think reverse...havent figured out how it works yet. These bikes have awesome torque and there are many performance parts available including turbo and supercharger kits. 210, 240, and 265 HP reachable and still streetable, try that with a Harley.

Motor Trike offers an Independent Rear Suspension on many of their conversions. This makes for a great ride by allowing each wheel on the same axle to move independently of each other. This alone creates a smooth ride. However, Motor Trike did not stop there. First, they designed and patented an air ride suspension that offers over four inches of wheel travel. Then, they lowered the spring rate to create a more comfortable ride with plenty of 'give' when traveling over bumpy terrain, with an extra passenger, heavy cargo, or pulling a trailer. Because of the fingertip adjustable air ride suspension and softened spring rate, optimum ride quality is reached. Motor Trike also uses rubber bushings on all suspension components as well as on the differentials to reduce the noise, vibration, and harshness that can be bothersome to riders. Also the roll center height has been lowered ensuring both tires are kept in contact with the road at all times which helps to prevent rolling. And finally, Motor Trike uses a calibrated sway bar to ensure comfortable and secure cornering. With all of these preventative measures in place, the inconsistencies in the road are completely absorbed creating an effortless ride.

Motor Trike does not significantly increase the wheelbase length when installing a trike conversion onto a motorcycle. This preserves low-speed maneuverability similar to that of a two-wheel bike while still allowing the trike to handle and ride smoothly at any speed, without a rake kit.
Motor Trike Authorized Dealers

Motor Trike, Inc. announces the release of an all-new trike, which pairs its industry-leading Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) with the world’s largest motorcycle production engine, forming the “Triumph Rocket Trike.” The 2014 Triumph Rocket Trike will maintain the full Triumph factory two-year warranty and can be ordered directly through your Triumph dealer.

Motor Trike went to great lengths to capture all the Triumph Rocket III has to offer. It features an all-new body design, integrating many of the classic Triumph design cues from the original motorcycle, using both the taillights and turn signals. The steering has been designed to make riding easy whether around town or on the highway taking on your favorite twisties.

“We have designed a trike for the Rocket III that will surprise a lot of riders,” says Motor Trike owner, Jeff Vey. “It has always been the accepted premise that a bike or trike with this much power would come with a trade-off (i.e. you would have to sacrifice comfort, lack of storage or the ability to corner). With the Rocket Trike you can now have it all: style, safety, comfort, and performance with a warranty that covers you from one end to the other. You no longer have to settle for a factory Trike with limitations.”

The Triumph Rocket Trike features one of the biggest trunk door openings in the industry and utilizes the Triumph ignition key to make locking and unlocking a cinch. The passenger seating and backrest position remain unchanged so there is still plenty of room for the driver and a passenger to go explore the open roads. Stopping the Triumph Rocket Trike will not be a problem as Motor Trike uses their multi-piston calipers on each rear wheel.

Classic Off-Road Bikes Featured in Braving Baja: 1,000 Miles to Glory Exhibition

Sat, 06 Apr 2013

Back in the 60s, American Honda tested the durability of its motorcycles by sending a CL72 Scrambler on a 950-mile trek through rocks, sand washes, dry lake beds, mountain passes and paved roads. Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.

Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Here’s an opportunity to own motorcycles associated with Steve McQueen and Von Dutch - need we say more? Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
