Triumph Speed Triple description

2007 Triumph Speed Triple 1050, I am selling my 2007 Triumph Speed Triple. This bike has been well taken care of, with all service done by Motorcycles of Charlotte. The bike has 5,800 miles, never been in an accident, and is very fast. The bike has 139 horsepower and weighs 416 pounds dry. If you know anything about this machine, you know that it is an absolute torque monster and a blast to ride. I am asking $6,200 or best offer. I also have a cover for the bike and a battery tender that I would be willing to include if the price is right. $6,200.00 7046497692

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.
