Triumph Sprint description

2008 Triumph Sprint ST, I am looking to sell my Sprint, it is a 2008 Graphite with Winter Package (Heated Grips/Power Outlet) 12,100 miles. Bike is super clean and has a lot of upgrades. Hayabusa Front 6-Piston Calipers, EBC HH Pads, Black Shorty Levers W/ Red Clickers, Power Bronze Double Bubble Screen, Triumph Gel Seat, GSG Frame Sliders, TORS Exhaust Powder Coated Gloss Black, R&G Tail Tidy, Integrated Smoked Tail Light, Smoked Turn Signal Lenses, 520 Chain Conversion W/ RK Gold X-Ring Chain, Drilled Super Light Sprockets (1 Down Front), 15W Bel-Ray Fork Oil (New Fork Seals) Done About 300 Miles Ago, Michelin Power Pure Tires (Like New), Engine Ice Coolant, Tech Mount Cell Phone Mount, Kaioko Cruise Control, and Carbon Fiber Yoke Cover. Bike is well maintained and garage kept, no items I really consider an issue. One tiny dent in left side of tank from a strap and one little rock chip in front fender. Bike was purchased from original owner and he sold the panniers and mounts. I purchased all new OEM mounting hardware and a set of used panniers. Left pannier has rash on black plastic portion of lid, but I bought new OEM infill panels. I love this bike it is one of my favorites I have owned, but it is not my primary bike. I don't need the money, so if I can't get what I want I will keep it. The bike is well worth the asking price and if you want to low ball me please move along. I am only selling this to possibly put extra money towards the purchase of another car or a new house. I have a clean Indiana title in hand. $6,500 8122361117

Bonneville from a parallel universe

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

This is the Triumph Speed Twin Concept, a bike commissioned by Triumph to show what the Bonneville might have evolved into, in a parallel universe. I love the concept. Designed by Roy Norton and Tom Kasher who were on a placement at a design studio, I get the impression the pair are into motorcycle and not just designers.

The Fonz Never Really Rode a Motorcycle!

Tue, 02 Jun 2009

According to the “King of Cool” himself, “The Fonz” (Henry Winkler) never actually rode any motorcycles during the ten year Happy Days television run.  Winkler, never rode a bike in real life either, he has dyslexia, which made it difficult for him to co-ordinate the clutch, throttle and brake.  Instead, the bikes (Harley Davidson’s, Triumph’s, BSA’s were used) were mounted on a piece of wood with wheels to make it look like he was riding, even though I am not shocked, I am a little disappointed… You can watch the interview with Winkler, the famous motorcycle jump “The Fonz” made over 14 trashcans and a bonus “Jump the Shark” video after the jump. 2013 Triumph Trophy Recalled for Incorrect Tire Label

Mon, 24 Dec 2012

The 2013 Triumph Trophy is being recalled because a NHTSA label listing the sport-tourer’s tire data has the wrong information. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the tire label on some Triumph Trophy models list erroneous tire and laden weight information. The labels are mandated by NHTSA and can be found affixed to the left side of the main frame headstock on the Trophy.
