This 1983 Triumph TSX has been in dry heated storage for years. It's in great condition even has the original factory tires, chain, sprockets in great condition. The only thing not original is the battery and grips.

No rust at all, all chrome is great no pitting, no rips in the seat upholstery, all lights work and gauges. Small paint chip and scratch on the right side of the tank. (see pics)

Only 371 of these Triumph TSX were produced and only 100 were exported to the United States.

When I got the bike I cleaned the tank and carbs and it fired right up. It has a small oil leak, looks like it coming from the valve cover. I have the replacement gaskets that will come with the bike. The electric start motor turns fine just doesn't engage, very common on these Triumphs and its an easy fix according to Google. It runs great and starts easy with the kick starter. Clutch and all gears work smooth. Its a very comfortable bike to ride and has good power.

This would be a great bike to add to any collection or daily ride.

WE SPOTTED this one earlier on French website Motorevue: a Swede, Sivert Raask, has concocted a this motorcycle from Triumph's 1600cc Thunderbird cruiser, with the use of a handmade seat, a Ducati tank and a bit of cunning.Quite tasty for a home-brewed effort, don't you think? Just as it did with its Thunderbird family, Triumph revealed a new bagger to its America cruiser line at the 2013 EICMA show. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Originally revealed in CARB documents as the America Horizon, the Triumph America LT adds a deattachable windscreen, pillion backrest and leather saddlebags to turn the midsized America into a serviceable light tourer. The America LT is powered by the same air-cooled 865cc parallel-Twin with a 270-degree firing interval as the regular America and the Speedmaster cruisers. Performance numbers are the same, with Triumph claiming 60 hp at 6800 rpm and 53 ft-lb.
