This is a numbers matching, fully restored, 1968 TR6R.For the restoration the motorcycle was torn completely apart. The motor was completely rebuilt; any bearings, chains, seals and other parts that needed to be replaced were, as well as all new gaskets and seals. All of the parts on the bike that are black were powered coated, and the tank and fenders are the proper blue and silver colors. All of the fasteners and certain brackets were replated. All of the chrome pieces on the motorcycle were ether re-chromed or replaced with UK parts. I have more photos available if you want to see something in particular. Triumph’s 500,000th Production Motorcycle Headed to Auction on July 1st
Thu, 16 Jun 2011It was less than a month ago that Triumph’s 500,000th production motorcycle, a special Speed Triple with commemorative paint job, rolled off the line. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will put the special Trumpet on the auction block on July 1, 2011, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Comedian Ross Noble has completed his Sit Down Tour of Great Britain with the milestone Triumph, and now the bike is ready to raise money for Riders for Health charity.
The Triple's ready, three days early!
Wed, 24 Mar 2010Mark Forsyth returned our Bonneville long termer today, and the Speed Triple was ready at the triumph factory to be brought back with him…three days early. Here’s a picture of it ‘wedged’ in the back of our new Ford Wildtrak. The bad news is, it won’t arrive at our London office until Friday, patience Andy, patience.
