This bike is a 2015 Triumph Tiger Explorer with 1,215 ccs. It is Brand New with 25 miles on it. It has never been registered or owned. This Triumph has a full warranty, owner's manual and is ready for a first owner.
Transportation Nationwide is available and is approx $350 - $650, depending on where it will be shipped to. These are the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer will be responsible for any taxes that need to be paid to the state that you reside in. registration will be the buyer's responsibility, if residing outside of California. If buyer resides in California, then all taxes and registration fees are the responsibility of our Dealership, so therefore, we will be required to collect those and submit all documents to DMV and to pay all taxes. Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE Recalled for Throttle Position Sensor Error
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.
