I'm selling my 1970 Triumph 250 does start its just the throttle cable is loose so when you turn the handlebars the motor revs up and down I can't figure out how to adjust it. The bike stops and shifts like it should. The motor is in great shape both physically and cosmetically. The paint is faded on the fenders and gas tank but the rest of bike looks nice like the frame and such. Bike is all stock as far as I can tell. Will need taillight hooked it's also missing the left side gas tank emblem. Has alot of potential just needs a weekend or two too be on the road. Recall for 2011-2012 Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC for Engine Management Software
Thu, 25 Aug 2011Triumph issued a recall for the 2011 and 2012 Tiger 800 and 800XC adventure tourers due to a bug in the engine management software. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Triumph Tigers’ 800cc Triple engine may stall during deceleration. Riders may also notice lower RPMs indicated on the tachometer at idle.

The show happens to be round the corner from me so event sponsors MCE Insurance kindly sent me some passes so I could have a look around. Apart from the usual trade stands and crazy arena antics one of the highlights was the national lawn mower racing championship.
