Victory presented Project 156
Sun, 07 Jun 2015Victory has teamed up with Roland Sands Design to completely declassify the Project 156, a hand-built race bike for the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The motorcycle is equipped with a liquid-cooled V-twin, powered by two 67-mm “chokes”, which are supplied with air through an air intake located in a false tank. The fuel tank is located under the engine.
Nancy Sabater Named 2011 AMA Motorcyclist of the Year
Mon, 12 Dec 2011The American Motorcyclist Association has named activist Nancy Sabater its 2011 Motorcyclist of the Year, recognizing her efforts in helping get the “lead law” ban on youth motorcycles overturned. Sabater helped organize the May 26 AMA Family Capitol Hill Climb which brought families to Washington D.C. to lobby in favor of overturning the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act’s ban on youth motorcycles containing trace amounts of lead.
Isle of Man TT 2013: Sure Sidecar Race 2 Results
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Brothers Ben and Tom Birchall rebounded from a disappointing finish to the first Sure Sidecar race with a solid victory in their second race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Birchall brothers had the early lead in the first race but were forced to retire on the first lap after puncturing a tire. Their second race went much better however, as they led from start to finish for their first ever win at the Isle of Man.
