Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

This weekend the EnduroCross championship makes its way to Denver and the National Events Center for the fifth round of the nine-round series. Truckloads of dirt, mountains of rock and piles of logs are coming together to create an EnduroCross course that’s sure to challenge racers and entertain fans.  Excitement will be a mile-high this weekend as the EnduroCross Championship puts three different race winners into an epic battle for valuable points before the halfway point in the series. Beta/GEICO-backed Cody Webb has led since his first round victory in Las Vegas, but KTM’s five-time champion Taddy Blazusiak is hot on his heels after a big win at the last round in Atlanta and at X-Games. And don’t count out Colton Haaker.
