WSBK: 2012 Miller Results

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Playboy Playmates Vie for Cover of 2013 Victory Motorcycles Brochure – Video

Playboy and Victory Motorcycles are working together in a promotion that will see a Playmate grace the cover of Victory‘s 2013 brochure. Fans can vote for one of three Playboy Playmates to appear on the brochure at PB-Victory.com. The Victory motorcycle that will appear with the winning playmate will later be auctioned to benefit Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization that sends care packages to United States service personnel stationed overseas.

Polaris Reports Q3 2013 Sales Results

Polaris Industries topped the $1 billion mark in sales for the first time in company history during the third quarter. Total sales revenue totaled $1.1 billion in the quarter, up 25.3% from $879.9 million reported in the same quarter last year. “Our record third quarter results reflect both the ongoing demand for our existing products and the potential contained within the initial shipments of our model year 2014 vehicles, the largest new product introduction in the company’s history,” says Scott Wine, chief executive officer of Polaris Industries.
