Brightspark 'EasyCap' Condenser C05

Suitable for use with the BTH KC1 and KC2 magnetos and some other BTH instruments with a ring-cam contact breaker assembly as shown in the picture. Works with clockwise and anti-clockwise instruments.



(The contact-breaker assembly is NOT included in the sale. The photo is just there to show you where the Brightspark EasyCap condenser fits.)

  • EasyCap C01 condenser for Lucas ring-cam magnetos and magdynos with earlier brass back plate and anti-clockwise rotation as viewed at the drive end (clockwise as viewed at the contact-breaker end, e.g. K1F, K2F, KVF, GA or GJ magneto and MN2 magdyno.
  • EasyCap C02 condenser for Lucas ring-cam magnetos and magdynos with earlier brass back plate and clockwise rotation as viewed at the drive end (anti-clockwise as viewed at the contact-breaker end), e.g. K1F, K2F, KVF, GA or GJ magneto and MN2 magdyno
  • EasyCap C03 condenser for Lucas face-cam magnetos and magdynos, either direction, e.g. MO1 magdyno and N1 and KN1 magneto.
  • EasyCap C04 condenser for Lucas ring-cam magnetos and magdynos with later steel back plate, either direction, e.g. K1F, K2F, KVF, GA or GJmagneto and MN2 magdyno

Bonhams’ annual fall auction, the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, at Stafford County Showground is scheduled for October 20, 2013. Included in the auction is the above pictured 1974 Kawasaki H1-RW 500cc triple. Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

2012 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class Nominees Announced

The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation released its list of nominees for the AMA Hall of Fame Museum induction class of 2012. The 26 nominees represents a wide range of contributions to motorcycling, from motocross champions and Daytona 200 winners to tuners to motorcycle rights advocates. The selection committee will further trim the list down to six individuals, three from competition categories and three from non-competition categories.
